Que Pasa means “what’s happening?”
With all the buzz and fuss along Orchard Road, there is nothing more relaxing than to hang out with friends and know what’s happening with each other; and there is no other place perfect for this than Que Pasa, just as what the phrase stands for.
The bar is set up in a 1910 Peranakan shophouse. The relaxing interior makes the bar very popular among locals and foreigners. Its creative way of setting up the wine barrels at the corners, wooden furniture, and the display of wine bottles stacked along the walls will give you the feel of Spain. There’s two other section in the bar, one of which is preferred mostly by the bachelors, the salon, located on the second level, it gives a private atmosphere in a cosy lounge theme; and the other one is the patio where anyone can cool down.
To further experience the taste of Spain, the menu comprises the best and most requested tapas to enjoy, among the list are olives, roasted artichokes, garlic prawns with chilli, meatballs, and sausages. Thin crust pizzas are also included in the menu.
Being the oldest wine bar in the city, it will be a guaranteed fine collection. There are distinctively eight kinds of wine, namely, Cava & Champagne, Moet et Chandon Brut Imperial, Moet et Chandon Brut Rose, Cava Mimosa, Louis Latour Chablis, Jean Leon Muscat, Sula Vineyards chenin Blanc, and Sylvie Spielmann Gewurztraminer. Que Pasa is the only bar in the city that gives its patrons the option to buy wine by the glass. The house also offers local beer and San Miguel Premium Beer.
